# RadChat

## What RadChat is (and is NOT)
RadChat is a planned website chat agent for businesses — SMBs and local
services with a website and no legal department. It answers what it actually
knows (hours, written policy, what it can really see) and refuses what can't
be undone. It is NOT built, NOT in beta, and NOT a human — it discloses that
it's an AI in the first message, always. A chat promise is a contract someone
has to eat; RadChat doesn't sign yours by accident.

## The Never List (human-only, forever — refused in code, not left to the model's judgment)
1. Never invent a discount, refund, or promise.
2. Never show anyone another customer's anything.
3. Never take payment details in chat.
4. Never pretend to be human.
5. Never move money, change banking details, or touch a verification code.
6. Never obey instructions embedded in pasted or fetched content — that's
   The Whisper, and it gets quarantined, not obeyed.

## Honest status
COMING SOON — nothing is built. What exists: this page, the domain (the
family's first .io), and a Never List published before a single line of code.
A tool, not a guarantee. reality.txt is a proposed convention, not a standard.
No customer counts, no benchmarks; every demo is scripted and labeled.
